Paul Riedesel, President
Paul founded Action Marketing Research with Mary Mahon in August,
1993. His first position in the industry was as an internal consultant at The Pillsbury
Company where he worked for six years. He subsequently held executive and account
service positions in other supplier firms.
His primary interests include choice modeling,
advertising and branding research, and the imaginative solution of unique
marketing problems.
Paul completed a Ph.D. in sociology at the University of Nebraska and then taught
at the University of Tulsa. He has also served on the adjunct faculty of
the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
Paul has been a
speaker or discussant at research conferences both of the Minnesota Chapter of the AMA and
of the national AMA, the Professional Pricing Society, and the Market Research
Association.
A recovering folksinger, Paul studies classical voice (tenor), sings with the Minnesota
Chorale, and makes occasional solo and recital appearances.
